Web development for New Zealand businesses

We design and build websites and web applications that are fast, accessible and genuinely maintainable — not template installs. React and TypeScript front ends on a secure, scalable backend, delivered by the same senior person who scoped the work.

What you get

Marketing sites built for search visibility and conversion, with a real content structure, per-page titles and descriptions, and clear calls to action on every page rather than a single contact form buried in the footer.

Web applications with authentication, role-based access, dashboards, reporting and integrations to the systems you already run — accounting, CRM, payment and email platforms included.

Performance and accessibility treated as requirements, not afterthoughts: compressed images, lazy-loaded routes, sensible colour contrast, keyboard navigation and layouts that hold up on a 375-pixel phone screen.

Content you can edit yourself where that makes sense, so routine copy changes do not need a developer.

How the build runs

We start with a short discovery: who the site is for, what they need to do on it, what they search for, and what happens after they enquire. That produces a page map and a content plan before any design work begins.

Design and build then run in short cycles with a working preview link you can click through at any point. You see progress weekly instead of waiting for a reveal at the end.

Before launch we check load speed, mobile behaviour, forms, tracking, redirects from any old pages, and the structured data that search engines and AI assistants read.

Typical engagement

A marketing site takes three to eight weeks. A full web application typically runs eight to twenty weeks depending on integrations. Pricing is fixed and agreed before build begins, so there are no hourly surprises and no change-request games over things we should have anticipated.

After launch you get documented handover and the option of ongoing support. The code and accounts are yours either way.

Common questions

How long does a website project take? A marketing site usually takes three to eight weeks from the first discovery session to launch. A web application with logins, dashboards and integrations typically runs eight to twenty weeks, depending on how many systems it has to talk to.

Do you work from a template? No. We design and build each site around your content and the way your customers buy. We use proven engineering patterns underneath, but the structure, copy and layout are specific to your business.

Who owns the finished site? You do. You get the code, the accounts and documented handover, so another developer can pick it up if you ever want to move on. There is no lock-in.
